Wildflowers Kids Yoga

Why Yoga?

Yoga brings together the mind, body, and breath. It has many benefits for both physical and mental health. It makes our bodies and minds strong, balanced, and flexible.

Our yoga classes feature asana (physical practice), breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation. Though kid yoga is a lot different from adult yoga! Classes also feature games, songs, props, books, and more. We keep lessons imaginative and engaging while being intentional about rooting in deeper, meaningful life lessons.

Why Social Emotional Learning?

Negative experiences are a part of life. As teachers and caregivers, it is our job to prepare children to navigate a world that is constantly changing and challenging them.

Our curriculum is intentionally designed to target social emotional development in children and teens, with instruction tailored to be developmentally appropriate for each age group. From calm down techniques and emotional intelligence, to discussions on self-love and being a good friend, Wildflowers classes are filled with lessons to last a lifetime.
